Device Description

ASTmidi is a compact astronomical controller designed for automatic control of street and outdoor lighting installations. Thanks to its high-precision real-time clock and synchronization with the GPS position of the user's smartphone, the controller automatically calculates optimal switching times, ensuring accurate lighting operation and reduced energy consumption throughout the year.

Designed for installation on a standard 35 mm DIN rail, ASTmidi occupies only 3 DIN modules. The controller is equipped with 2 independently programmable relay outputs as standard, with an optional third output available on request. It also features a multifunctional input for a photocell or cascade signal and an integrated Bluetooth interface for wireless configuration and diagnostics.

Its compact design, advanced scheduling capabilities, and intuitive operation make ASTmidi an ideal solution for both new lighting installations and modernization of existing control systems.

Precision Astronomical Control

All controllers in the AST product family feature a high-precision real-time clock with automatic synchronization using the GPS position of the user's smartphone, ensuring accurate lighting control throughout the year.

ASTmidi allows individual adjustment of switching times to match local environmental conditions and user requirements.

ASTmidi is fully compatible with the free ASTmobile mobile application, allowing complete configuration, monitoring, and diagnostics directly from a smartphone or tablet.
